Characteristics:
The Element Optics HYPR-7 7x50 rifle scope provides the benefits of a traditional rifle scope, but with the added benefits of a digital reticle. This means you will have full control of the information shown on your display. The name HYPR-7 is an acronym, which stands for HYbrid Precision Riflescope. That hybrid bit is a direct reference to the fusion of analog and digital, allowing you to get the best possible results. The shockproof housing is completely waterproof and it is nitrogen purged, meaning it is also fog proof.
Systems such as an inclinometer, a barometer, a thermometer and even a hygrometer are constantly communicating with the ballistic calculator. All of these systems are essential in calculating the most accurate shot trajectory. Taking all that information into account, the digital reticle will clearly display the calculated point of impact. It will do so through either a flashing dot or by simply moving the entire reticle. You can set your own preference. There's a Weaver/Picatinny accessory rail on top of the rifle scope, which can be used to mount a rangefinder.
This scope by Element Optics has an objective with a diameter of 50 mm and it provides a solid light transmission. As a result you’ll have plenty of light to see nice and far, even in low-light situations. The ED (extra-low diffusion) glass provides a crisp image. The Element Optics HYPR-7 7x50 rifle scope has a maximum magnification of seven times and it has an eye relief of 45 mm, so you will be able to stay nice and close to the action. The turret on the left side of the housing allows you to adjust the parallax from six yards to infinity and the dioptre ensures you’ll be able to focus clearly on the reticle.
As stated before, the reticle is completely digital, which means you can choose between various reticles. It’s even possible to draw your own reticle and upload it to the rifle scope. All this can be done by using the Element Ballistics app, which can be installed on your smartphone at no additional cost. You’ll be able to adjust various functions of the Element Optics HYPR-7 7x50 rifle scope through the app and they will all allow you to benefit maximally from everything it has to offer. One of the features is a time-out function, which will allow the rifle scope to turn off after a set amount of time to save power. Even if you leave it on for a good long while, the rifle scope won’t run empty anytime soon. A standard AAA-battery can easily power it for several days. The Element Optics HYPR-7 7x50 rifle scope comes with a unimount which can easily be mounted onto a Weaver/Picatinny scope rail. That unimount has a slight curve and the rifle scope can be freely mounted onto that curve. This means the rifle scope is well-suited for shooting at long range as well. The unimount has markings in MOA.
