PCP Air Rifle Snowpeak | Artemis PR900W Gen2

Snowpeak, formerly known as Artemis and Spa, is developing into a leading manufacturer of airguns (spring powered and PCP). The company combines good design and quality for an unbeatable price. A good example is the PR900W Gen-2, the successor to the popular PR900W. This second make has now been fitted with a regulator, this ensures that shots generate the same amount of power, as long the air pressure is adequate.

Pellets are fed into the barrel from the rotary magazine by operating the bolt-action cocking lever. After undoing the safety, the trigger can be pulled to take a shot. Repeating this process enables the user to take multiple shots. The included single shot tray can be used to replace the magazine. Magazine capacity amounts to:

• 4.5 mm / .177: 9 rounds
• 5.5 mm / .22: 7 rounds

The trigger is two-stage adjustable, trigger pull can be adjusted from 0.5 to 4 lbs (0.2 to 1.8 kg). The air reservoir of 100 cc is good for dozens of shots, and the stock of European beech features chequered areas on the grip and forend, an elevated cheek piece and a rubber butt stock. After removing the thread protector, a moderator can be screwed on to reduce muzzle noise.
